The 2008 Olympics in Beijing is finally over. Sadly, I only got to watch some games (swimming and gymnastics) and the almost 5-hour long opening on TV. I wonder if any of our pinoy athletes won...

I beg to disagree. Mr. Phelps is not part-fish.

Kidding aside, the Philippines should seriously consider evaluating its sports programs, especially those bound to compete for global or regional sports. Why should we waste money, time, and effort on sports that we have nil chances of winning. Why not focus on sports like boxing, tae-kwon-do, etc were we have better chances?

Is it true that the Philippines may bid for the 2024 Olympics?

Piyerde pa kita sang Indonesia kag Thailand. Last time I checked, they have two golds each.

The gold that Philippines got for Wushu demo doesn't count.

Sa demo lang kita maayo.
