same. although i'm teaching myself how to play the guitar right now. it's harder than it seems, this strumming and plucking business. makapilikon.

Guitar(electric and flamenco).

Yaguette, just don't give up. The more you play, the easier it gets. soon it'll be as easy as playing piano for you.

Di bala dapat mas hapos ang transition to guitar kung nakaagi ka na piano? Or is it the other way around?

I agree. Kay most if not all nga mga piano players sagad sa music theory kag sight reading. Music theory for piano and guitar are basically one and the same since theyre both treble clef instruments so ang  imo lang da siguro obstacle ang physical agility. finger placement and such. Where as, you can learn to play the guitar without having to learn music theory and sight reading, so the transition from guitar to piano would be much more difficult.

yep, i have no problem with the chords. i know where my fingers should go. the hard bit is when i actually strum. tunog lata. how do you say it...ang pit-ag (??) indi maayo. my fingers get sore.

Pit - al? I take it you're learning to play steel string acoustic. it's gonna take some time before you're fingers become numb to the strings. the trick is to place your fingers as close to the frets as possible , though you may have to press harder but the notes would ring much clearer.
