It's Coolest University! Brilliant teachers, low tuition, highest academic standards, free-wheeling discussion of views, no dress code, pwede ka magyosi, long hair, no hair,goatee...

no tight-assed rules, no religious-constraints (except your own conscience/religious faith) from the univ. administration ...

Freedom to learn how to think!! and yes...learn how to be responsible for our own actions.

no textbooks (te kundi indi ka budlayan bitbit damu libro LOL)...indi uso memorization (kay wala ta ya gadepend sa isa lang ka "definition", free ta ya magdefine sang kung ano man dapat idefine mo)...you're taught to use your mind and to think/analyze/dissect mga dalum nga issues (reminds me of classcard shuffling ni teddy during oral exams, dalum klase maistro, out of this world mga questions niya ya tsk!)...mas broader ang way of thinking...dam u pa reasons! basta lain gid ya kung sa UP ka halin ah.

Hello.

Aside sa academics, the real reward of being a UP graduate, is the flexibility and open-mindedness postschool that will allow you to not succumb to the pressures of real life (i.e. corporate, family, social) and you have fun doing it as well.

Another point: Sa diin ka makakita first long exam nga sa Tyangge ni Tya Mels ginaconduct kag may isa or duha ka case sang SMB Pilsen sa idalum sang lamesa and actually drinking it while taking the exam? To induce your creative juices kuno.hehe

Hindi ka lang one-dimensional, but you can generate numerous insights on various situations around you be it in the arts or sciences even if you do not belong in either realms. Amo lang ina galing, expectations are always high...
